Zapata Energy Inc. announced today that it changed its name to Surge Energy Inc. The current TSX Venture Exchange symbol "ZCO" was also approved to change to "SGY." The change was approved by the TSX Venture Exchange and is expected to trade under the new symbol on or about Tuesday, June 29th, 2010.
